Women’s mental health is shaped by many factors — relationships, caregiving roles, work demands, identity, and biological changes. At times, these can combine in ways that feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate alone.
I offer counselling for women seeking a safe, respectful space to explore their mental health and emotional wellbeing, particularly during periods of transition or increased vulnerability.
I work with women experiencing:
Counselling focuses on understanding your experience, strengthening emotional regulation, and supporting you to feel more grounded and resourced in daily life.
Hormonal changes can have a profound impact on mood, energy, and emotional wellbeing. Many women describe feeling dismissed, misunderstood, or unsure whether what they’re experiencing is “normal.”
In counselling, we can explore:
All work is approached from a counselling and emotional wellbeing perspective. I do not diagnose or provide medical advice, and medical decisions remain with your treating health professionals.
My work is trauma-informed, client-centred, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you feel believed, validated, and supported — without pressure to minimise your experience or “push through.”
You do not need to have everything figured out to begin counselling.
Where appropriate and by request, sessions may include Woof, my trained therapy dog. For some women, her calm presence can help reduce anxiety and make the counselling space feel more welcoming and grounded.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally depleted, or simply not like yourself, support is available. Counselling can be a place to pause, reflect, and begin caring for yourself with greater understanding.
If you’re looking for women’s mental health counselling contact me today to book a session or ask questions. Counselling is a safe space to explore your experiences, build insight, and develop strategies that work for you.
